The CCS HBCU G.O.A.L.S. (Gateway for Opportunities, Access, Leadership, and Service) Door Decorating Challenge invites all high schools to showcase their creativity and HBCU school spirit. Form your committee, design your doors, and get ready to impress—entries will be judged by current HBCU and CCS students on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Winners will be celebrated at the annual HBCU event and featured on social media. Let’s see which school brings the most pride, passion, and imagination to the challenge!

Yes! Schools may submit more than one decorated door as long as each door represents HBCU spirit and creativity.
Schools can organize their own committees and begin decorating—no formal registration is required, but be sure your door is complete by judging day.
Judging will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025 by current HBCU and CCS students.
The theme is HBCU pride and spirit! Doors should highlight Historically Black Colleges and Universities, their culture, legacy, and impact.
All high schools in CCS are invited to take part. Each school can form its own committee or team to design and decorate a door.
